Professional Rehabilitation Services, Inc. is a Private Practice Outpatient Physical Therapy Facility in Pawleys Island; established in January 2004 by Brian P. Kinmartin PT, DPT, MTC, OCS, with the primary goal being to assist our patient’s rehabilitation needs by specializing in the field, thus raising the standard of care in the region.
Owner, Brian P. Kinmartin initially received his BS in Physical therapy in 1998 from Daemen College in New York, followed by a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy in 2004 from the University of St. Augustine. Brian has achieved a specialty certificate in Manual Therapy, including manipulation of the spine and extremities from the University of St. Augustine. He has completed the Masters sequence in High Velocity Low Amplitude thrust manipulation techniques for the spine from the University of Tulsa, he is a board Certified Orthopedic Specialist and this past year has attained his competency in Vestibular Rehabilitation from Emory University and the American Physical Therapy Association. Brian has been practicing in the Horry/Georgetown County for over 10 years now.
Early in 2008, Brian P. Kinmartin PT, DPT, MTC, OCS, STC, CWcHP, owner of Professional Rehabilitation Services Inc., began to search for a home in the Myrtle Beach region with the same primary goal intended that was achieved in their Pawleys Island Office. Professional Rehab’s goal is to offer a superior service to patients of the Myrtle Beach area needing Physical Therapy for all types of various dysfunctions. As of December 2008, Professional Rehabilitation Services found that home located at 3076 Dick Pond Road Unit # 4 Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Their second home is a state-of-the-art facility. They are currently seeing and accepting new patients now in both their Pawleys Island and Myrtle Beach Office.
At Professional Rehab emphasis is placed on one-on-one patient care, no aides or technicians are used. In both of our facilities we treat our staff and patients like family offering a very comfortable atmosphere where patients can come and with the assistance of their Physical Therapist meet and achieve all of their rehabilitation needs.
Physical Therapy is a physician referred service and legally patients have the right to choose their provider. Professional Rehab offers many types of therapy; including all orthopaedic based rehab, pre and post operative joint replacement programs, gait and balance training, neurological, vestibular rehabilitation and more.
